My Sister Jessica was reading the paper today and saw a ad that said if you send in your Activia UPC & Receipt to YoPlus they would send you a coupon for a Free YoPlus. Now Activia is a Dannon product and has been free at Kroger the last few weeks. So I happen to still have two in my fridge and since I keep my receipts I can do this rebate:) I always keep my receipts in envelopes my month. You never now when a old receipt will turn into a rebate.

Free Bacon at Kroger

Go to the Smithfield.com site and click on the sign up tap at top of page. Fill out the registration from and when you are done a link to print $3/1 package of bacon coupon will come up make sure once it prints to back space a few times so it will print again.

Right now Krogers has this on sale for $2.99 that is free bacon people!!!!! I will have my husband sign up on his computer so I can get four backs. I am very exited, meat is one of the harder items to get free.

My New Stock Room

My husband built me a new stock room a few weeks ago. (I love it) I went to a scrapbooking party which took all day and when I got home he had cleaned out our small storage room, painted the walls (with $5 paint that someone returned to Home Depot), put in carpet (was a remnit form a local carpet company) and build be shelf's, desk, small wooden storage boxes, step stool and if that was not enough to make me cry he had my girls use expired coupons to make art projects out of then framed them with some old frames he found while cleaning. WOW I am lucky!!!!!

In honor of my new room I decided to host a coupon party at my house last week. The party was a great success and there are now more family's out there saving money with coupons. I have been waiting till after the party to post photos of my new stock room so here they are. Food Pantrys in Need

All over MI there are food Pantry's & other organizations who help fight hunger on a local level in need. These Organizations have fewer donations and more people who need their services. That is not a good combination. We couponers often pick up more then we need or items we don't even plan on using. (only if they are free or we make money of course:)

So when I got a e-mail that said Food Gatherers was running low, I decided to see what I could put together for a donation.
Today was the first time I have been to this organization. They where very nice and great full for the donation. They are very unique in that they have a large garden so that they can give fresh produce out. They also encourage others to plant a row in their garden for Charity's like theirs. Here is there mission statement

Food Gatherers exists to alleviate hunger and eliminate its causes in our community by: reducing food waste through the rescue and distribution of perishable and non perishable food; coordinating with other hunger relief providers; educating the public about hunger; and developing new food resources.

Here is a Link to their web site, if you live in the Ann Arbor area and you can donate keep them in mind.

They take your donation by weight mine came to 100pounds. The dollar value of all of it came to $451.74






I love that through couponing I am able to help others, something like this would not have been possible for my family to do before coupons.

Trip to my Local Krogers to pick up Rainchecks

I stopped by my Local Krogers to pick up Rainchecks for the Cover Girl deal. I will be ablt to use these next week at my Super Kroger and it will save me a trip. But why I was there I thought I would pick up all the items that are free at any Kroger this week. Here is what I picked up

(you don't have to cut out they just scanned it and it rang up for all 4 of my items in one scan and I kept the coupon)
I am not sure if all stores will be this nice about it though I went to the Brighton location by Old23.

Free PC tune up at Staples

I wanted to try this out before I posted to see if there where any surprises.
So now through the end of 9/19 Staples is offering a free PC Tune up normally $29.99.
Just bring in your computer and power cord make sure to back up any critical information. I dropped it of on Tuesday and it was ready to pick up Thursday. They where very nice and there where no hidden fees. They did suggest that I add some gig I said I would think about it and that was the end of it. No hard sell or pressure to get extras. I was pleased when I booted it up, does seem to run a bit faster (5 Years old) and I can tell they cleaned it up a bit and all my information was intact. I went to the Brighton location.

Here is what is included in the tune up
Thorough PC cleaning (deleting Internet cookies and temporary Internet files), clean up dust and dirt buildup, disk defragmentation and disk clean up.

I was not paid or given anything to post this I just think it is a good deal. I use my Internet a lot and get a lot of cookies... so it is nice to get it cleaned up for free this is my older computer so gets bogged down faster then the newer ones.

My Mom's Meijer's Post

Courtney, I took your advice! I headed out to Meijers this morning and look at the haul we got! Ended up with 24 Skippy Peanut Butters, 8 Ragu, 6 Jello and 5 things of Hellmann's Mayo! Was a money maker of almost $5! I love our Meijers store!

Update* So I actually got the time to run out to Target today and was able to get some Free Kotex. (think donations if you don't use or have just way to much)

In this Sundays Paper (8/2) there where coupons for $1/1 All (Red Plum) and Tide (P&G)

Take these to Target and hit the travel section (trial sizes) there you will find small packets of Tide and Small bottles of All. The coupons say any so it is OK to use on these small items.

The Tide is $.97 so they will have to mark your coupon down but the All is $1.00 so that rang up fine at my Target. Print off a copy of the coupon Policy and take it with you in case your cashier says they can't mark down a coupon. (it clearly states they can)

I can think of a college student or two who would love these. The All is two loads and the Tide is one so for a College kid or someone on a budget this is great. (will have to pay tax about .36)

There are two different Cover Girl $1/1 Coupons in this week P&G insert. Since they only double three of the same coupon (and same item) you can still get up to six items since you have two different coupons.
