Great way to get some Free CVS bucks

So I tested this deal and it works great.
Purchase $15.00 worth of Command and get $5 ECB
use 6 of the $2.50/1 coupon here
(can print as many times as you want, slow to print)

Now my CVS only had 5 of the medal clips so I found a manager and asked if there was any way he could ring me up for six so I could get my ECB then just write me a paid raincheck for the one I did not get he said yes) if you are not comfortable asking that is fine but make sure you get a raincheck. (coupons do not Exp till 6/22)
I was told that if you purchased 3 at one CVS then the other 3 and a different location your ECB would print out when you reached the 6 or $15.00. (I did not have a chance to test this out)

Thanks to Survivingthestores for this find.

Meijer Sweepstakes some ending 4/29

Meijer has six Sweepstakes going and three will end on 4/29. When stores like Meijer have sweepstakes your odds of winning are much better then if Wonder Bread was having a sweepstakes. Meijer's sweepstakes are only eligible for people who live in the states the store is located in so less entrees.

Click this link to see the list of sweepstakes and I would enter them all today and tomorrow. You will need to create an account first if you don't have one. The ones that don't end till 5/9 or 8/29 I would enter those everyday if you like the prize. You can double your entry by stopping at your local Meijer and filling in a form at their barrel stations.

Good luck and please let me know if you are a winner. Courtney

Great way to pick up a free gift or a little something for yourself

If you click on this link Dots and fill out a short survey you will be able to print a $10 off coupon.
This coupon is good 4/24-5/11 and there is no minimum purchase required.
You can pick out a item for under $10 and it is just free. ( they will not give you money back if your purchase price is under $10)

Also the coupon says One coupon per customer per transaction, so my husband will also be filling out the survey on his computer & I will be able to use his coupon. (two different transactions)

For a list of Dots locations click here.

I have two kids and a big family & the kids are always getting invited to Birthday party's and at least once a month someone in the family will have a birthday. Top that with Teachers day and Mothers day the list just does not stop. So even if I don't have a need for a gift this week I might next week. I will most likely be able to pick up some jewelry or a purse for free with this coupon and I will keep it in a special gift place till I need it.
This will save my family a lot of money and allow me to give a gift when I might not other wise be able to.

Caregivers

I had a coupon party this weekend and I talked about Caregivers. Most of the ladies at the party had not heard of the company so I wanted to take this opportunity to tell everyone about this great company.
Their mission is to ease some of the financial burden for everyone who is caring for a loved one be it a baby, friend who is sick or the elderly.

They offer cash back to you when you buy eligible products anywhere they are sold.
All you need to do to receive cash back on your purchases is print a cash back request form, shop for eligible products and send in your original receipts with the completed cash back request form. Once verified, your cash back check will arrive in the mail within 4-6 weeks.

The same cash back form will show you the list of eligible products, if you go over the list and have bought some of these products within the last 2 months and you still have your receipts you can get your rebate.

What to do next

Log onto Caregivers and Enroll

Go through old receipts if you have them (only ones for 2009) or wait till you buy eligible items . Once you have 5 items mail in your form and original receipts and wait for your rebate check. (The minimum amount of items you can mail in is five but there is no maximum so you can wait till you have 20 if you want)

Every penny counts and programs like this our a great opportunity for people to save money.

Coupon party

This is a guest post from my mom Barb; She will be posting deals every so often:

I just wanted to write and tell my daughter Courtney (she is the cute one in orange) that I appreciate her coming all the way to Adrian, to throw a coupon party for my friends and family. Almost everyone here was new to couponing and Courtney made it really simple to follow. (Kind of Couponing for Dummies) She helped us to understand how to use RR's and our ECB's. She brought (and gave away alot of "FREE" products as prizes) that she had purchased. She also was very helpful with answering all of our questions. This blog is the first one that I go to, because she spells everything out. She tells you what she got and where, and what coupons she uses, where you can get the coupons, and how to use the coupons to get the "Biggest bang for your Buck." In order to help everyone get started she also gave everyone a plastic container with dividers, a sheet of labels typed up with all the different sections, and two inserts from the last Sunday paper. She also printed up a list of web sites to check out for coupons to print and Blogs of others who are saving money using coupons.

If you are interested in having a coupon party of your own, you should contact Courtney, she loves to share her knowledge, and talk about all the ways that you will be able to save money for your family.

CVS Starting 4/26

CVS this week does not have a lot of run out on Sunday morning deals. Here are a few of the highlights.

Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner & Style products $2.99 get $2 ECB back.

If you where lucky and found a peelie (coupons attached to either products or shelve around product) this could be free. If not final price after ECB would be $0.99 (Limit1)

Crest Cavity, Baking Soda, Peroxide or Tarter Toothpaste 6.4oz is on sale for $1.99 get $1 ECB back use $.75/1 coupon from 4/5 insert to make final cost $.25 (Limit 2)

I know $.99 & $.25 are good prices for these products on the other hand I know that I can get them free or make money on them if I wait. So since I have a lot of both items stock piled I will wait another day for another deal.

But if I was running low or had some really old ECB I needed to roll then I would jump at these items. (CVS will normally honer your ECB even after they Exp within a reasonable amount of time)

Check out Survivingthestores.com for more CVS deals this week. (note the ROC deal she has posted would require you to print 8 coupons so unless you have excess to 4 computers you won't have enough coupons to make money on the deal & it also requires you to find 8 of the Cleansers for $3.99 this could be hard to find all in one location).

When I was just starting out this was the kind of deal that kept me in a isle for an hour trying to figure out what products to buy and what my OOP would be. Then when I thought I had it figured out I would cash out and it would be a lot higher then I thought.

What's good at Walgreens 4/26

So many good deals this week at Walgreen's it is a great chance to get some RR if you have not tried it yet and also to start Rolling your RR.

Here is how I would do it. If you have the $30/1 coupons for the Breeze 2 or the Contour Meter from the 2/1 or 3/22 insert buy this first. $14.99 get $5.00RR they will mark your coupon down to sale price. You would pay $0.90 OOP (tax) and get $5.00RR

Next pick up the Ecotrin on sale for $2.00 get $2.00 RR use the $2.25 coupon from smartsource.com again they will have to mark coupon down to $2.00. You will pay $.012 OOP (tax) get $2.00RR

Note: you can get the Breeze/Contour & Ecotrin in one order

Now you have $7.00 in RR to use or if you don't have the Breeze, $2.00 RR and out of pocket so far $1.02-$0.12

Use that $7.00RR to pick up the Nivea & Bayer (or just Bayer to keep your OOP cost down if you only have $2.00RR) to get another $7.50 -$2.50 in RR

Nivea body wash $4.99 get $5.00RR
Use $1/1 coupon from 4/19 insert our print $1/1 at Nivea making it $3.99
This will be a $1.00 money maker

Bayer Quick Release 4pk $2.49 get $2.50RR

This will put your total at $6.48 so pick up a $0.50 item this way you can use your two RR and you won't loose any money from your RR. At Walgreen's if your total is $6.49 and you give them $7.00 in RR you will just loose the $0.51 you had left. Also Walgreen's RR are Manufactures coupons so you will need one more item that does not have a coupon to use both RR.

If you only have the $2 RR don't pick up the $.50 item. Your OOP after $2RR will be around $.61 leaving you with a $2.50RR

Here are a couple other deals I like that you can get RR for this week. For a full list of deals check out Survivingthestores.com she has a great site.

Rembrant toothpaste/mouthwash $5.99 get $6.00RR

Got2b Hair Stylers buy two for $10.00 get $5.00RR
use two $2/1 coupon at Got2B
to make $6.00 OOP with a $5.00RR (only $0.50 each)

If you ever have any question please leave a comment or email me and I will get back to you.

Free at Krogers this week

I don't post every deal out there, but like to post the deals that cost the least out of pocket (OOP) and are easy to do. Everything in the photo was free and the toilet paper and wipes where purchased with coupons from Sundays (4/19) paper.

Angel Soft is on sale for $1.00 use the $0.50/1 (Kroger will double) comes out Free
Huggies wipes are on sale for $1.00 use the $1/1 for any Huggies bath & body product. (Free)

Before you had out to get these deals you can design a bag Krogerwebsite and they will load a free bag on your Kroger card. So pick up some free product and take it home in a free bag not bad.

This is a great example of way buying more then one paper can help you stock pile items you use. When you buy 3-5 papers you can really stock pile items when they are at there lowest price. If I had only bought one paper the odds are I would have ran out of toilet paper & wipes before another good deal came around.

Thanks to Laura at Sharpenyourscissors for the heads up on the toilet paper deal I am exited to find free TP again.

Free Glade Soy Candles at Target or Walgreen's

This is big on the blogs write now so the first thing you want to do is print your coupon for $4/1 any Fragrance Collection by Glade before they are no longer there. Glade

Now you can take your coupon to Target and make $0.73 off two with one of there gift card deals. (Target will not give rainchecks for gift card deals)
See Dealseekingmom.com for more details.

Or if you don't have a Target close by you can take to Walgreens and get for free.
They are $5.99 use your $4/1 with the $2/1 coupon in their Easy Saver Catalog to make free.
(if you don't have the Catalog don't worry they always have a lot up front when you walk in)

Thanks to Dealseekingmom for this find. You can find a link to her blog to the right under blogs I love.

Reynolds Rap has a rebate form you can only print tomorrow and supplies will run out so print earlie. The rebate is for up to $3.99 see form for details. Reynolds Rebate

Free at Target

Dry Idea is on sale for $2.00 print a $2/1 at Coupon.com
(remember you can get rainchecks when stores are out of sale price items)

These Cheerios boxes are only $1.00 print a $1/1 at bricks.coupons.com
I was going to use the last of by$2/2 & $3/3 Johnson and Johnson coupons topped with the Target $.75/1 coupons and the cashier gave me a hard time about the overages. Normally as long as neither coupon is more then the actual product then I get my overages for the Target coupons towards my other items.
Since they gave me a hard time I just asked for the items to be taken of my order and took my coupons back. I will purchase them the next time I am at Target and hopefully the cashier will be in a better mood.
